Preserving Your Wedding Hair Accessories

For many brides their wedding day remains one of the most precious memories throughout their lives. And although pictures are a lovely way to capture the visuals of that special day, many brides like to preserve something more tangible such as their wedding day attire- be it their dress, headpiece, veil or all three.

Keeping your wedding hair accessory allows you to not only reminisce-touching and feeling the textures of that day-but it is something that can be shared with others. Although daughters and nieces may not want to wear your dress, as wedding gown styles rapidly change and may appear dated, she might want to borrow your bridal jewelry as it offers additional options for those wanting to incorporate family heritage into their wedding ceremony. Properly stodiamondrings-20" title="ring">ring your wedding hair accessories will allow future generations to enjoy them as well.

Box it up

Materials:

Sturdy acid-free box
Acid-free tissue paper
Foam ball (optional)

Before you store away your bridal accessories, you need to make sure that they are well protected and secure. Only use acid-free tissue paper as it won't cause your veil or piece to yellow. Also be sure to not use plastic to wrap your piece in as the chemicals in plastic will cause discoloration to fabric and trim over long periods of time.

Take your acid free tissue paper and gently wrap your headpiece. If your bridal hair accessory is one that conforms to the head, try wrapping a Styrofoam® ball in acid-free paper or mold the tissue into a ball to rest your headpiece on for support and to keep its shape. Once you have the piece wrapped, place it in the box and add more tissue to keep it from shifting.

If stodiamondrings-20" title="ring">ring a veil place sheets of acid-free tissue paper between the layers.

When stodiamondrings-20" title="ring">ring your wedding hair accessories it is important to find a sturdy acid-free box to place them in. If you are keeping your pieces tucked away in a closet or under a bed there is a chance that the box may be inadvertently placed under other items and squished. Having a box with a strong frame will help prevent your pieces from being distorted under crushing weight.

Stash it

Once the accessory is secure in the box, store it in a dry dark place, such as under the bed or a closet. Avoid areas with humidity and temperature extremes such as attics and basements. Also steer clear of garages as mildew and pests may make its way into the box and cause damage.

Protect the boxes from dust with old sheets, you should avoid plastic as it may lead to condensation and cause mildew.

Tips For Lovely Wedding Photos

Captudiamondrings-20" title="ring">ring all of the memories of your wedding day is very important. That is why your photos are a key aspect of planning you need to focus on. Finding the ideal photographer is essential if you want to be able to look back at those pictures with a smile on your face. Take your time choosing one so that you get what you want. Talk to photographers to see what they can do for you.

Find one that is flexible and that will do what you ask. For example you may want the traditional shots of the wedding party. However, you also want lots of candid shots of the guests at the wedding and dudiamondrings-20" title="ring">ring the reception. A great photographer is able to get those wonderful poses as well as those shots that simply come up as an opportunity in motion.

Ask to see samples of the work a photographer has done in the past. That way you will be able to compare them and see if the quality is what you would really be happy with. The quality of the photos isn't an area where you want to compromise. That is why you need to find experience that also comes with a price that can work well for your budget.

Find out what other features a photographer can offer you as well. For example many of them also create videos that you will want to purchase of your wedding. They can help you to keep the entire event as once that is very special.

These days just about everyone out there has a digital camera. Make sure you let friends and family members know that they can take their own photos dudiamondrings-20" title="ring">ring the wedding and reception. Ask them to email you the photos as well or to share them from an online photo album. You will find that they get some wonderful shots you would like to print as well.

The lighting in a given facility should be looked at too. That is something many people overlook when they book a location for the wedding ceremony or for the reception. Poor lighting though can result in dark photos even when your photographer is using quality equipment. When you book with that person, ask them if they have done work in your specific locations and what their take is on the lighting there.

Not all of the photos are going to call out to you no matter who takes them. There may be some where someone has their eyes closed or they are looking the other way. However, you want to have enough shots taken that you can get those that you really love. If you happen to be self conscious about certain things you need to try to compensate for them with the photos.

For example some people feel that they have a double chin which shows up in all their photos. By slightly tilting the head to the left or the right though that can be greatly reduced. Some people don't like their smile so close ups with their teeth can be embarrassing. Let your photographer know about such concerns so they can work their magic as well.

Have fun with your wedding photos as well because you want to have strong memories with them too. You don' t want to say why do we all look so bored in these photos? Instead you want to be lively and having a great time. The attitude that is in place during wedding photos is important. When you take that lead the rest of your wedding party will follow along.

The wedding of the year and more.... After a lovely amazing mind blowing wedding celebration the reception entertainment got underway. With a superb performance from Bjorn Again. After their flawless perfromance what many presumed was going to be an encore the inevitable happened. The bride and her two friends stormed the stage and got the guests dancing and screaming out for more. Singing the Abba classics Waterloo and Dancing Queen. The singing not so great (many words slured) but fanatastic all the same! If its a laugh your after or just to see women in LYCRA and many SEQUINS this is the video for you!! ENJOY

Now for most parts of the wedding like during the reception or the church ceremonies, here are more country song suggestions that you can consider: "A Song For My Son on His Wedding Day," "All This Time" (Reba McEntire), "Always On My Mind" (Willie Nelson), "Angel Eyes" (Jeff Healey), "For the First Time" (Kenny Loggins), "Forever" (Kenny Loggins), "Forever and Ever, Amen" (Randy Travis), "From Here to Eternity" (Michael Petersen), "How Do I Live" (Tricia Yearwood), "I Can't Stop Loving You" (Hank Williams Sr), "I Do (Cherish You)" (Mark Wills), "I Feel Lucky" (Mary Chapin Carpenter), "I Love the Way You Love Me" (Faith Hill), "I Love You More And More Everyday" (Al Martino), "I Want You" (Bob Dylan) and "I'll Always Be Loving You" (George Strait).

Customize Your Wedding Gown

It often happens that a bride finds a wedding dress which she really likes, but feels is missing something. The answer? Start with that gown as a base, and add your own special unique details until you have the wedding dress of your dreams. It is not nearly as intimidating as it sounds at first. Here are some wonderful suggestions to how to customize your wedding gown.

The absolute number one requirement for a bridal gown is that it flatters your figure more than any other dress you have ever worn. If you find a gown that makes you look like a million bucks and another gown that has all the details you like, but does not do your figure justice, you must choose the flattediamondrings-20" title="ring">ring dress! Then use the details from the other one as inspiration for transforming the first bridal gown into your vision. Sound hard? A good seamstress can make it happen, within reason of course.

One very pretty way to customize a bridal gown is to add lace embellishments. Take a wide piece of border lace and wrap it around the midsection of a simple silk A-line gown. Layer on a ribbon or sash to define and accentuate the waist, and you will have a beautiful classic style with a minimum of effort. Another lovely way to use lace to personalize your wedding gown is in the form of appliques. They can be large or small, heavy Alencon lace or wispy Chantilly, and appliques can be added to almost any part of a wedding gown, even over lightweight fabrics like tulle or organza. Lightly scatter lace appliques over the skirt of a wedding dress for a feminine touch or create a formal style with an elaborate deep lace hem. If you are weadiamondrings-20" title="ring">ring crystal bridal jewelry, think about adding a touch of crystal beading to the lace to make it even more fabulous.

Speaking of crystals, they are one of the most popular embellishments to add to a wedding gown. Want a quick way to add drama to the back of your dress? Add a row of mirror backed crystal buttons. They can go just to the waistline, or flow all the way down the the end of the train for even more drama. The buttons need not work, so this can be a very easy project with major impact. A pre-made crystal beaded trim makes a beautiful addition to the neckline or waist of a wedding gown. Or use this sparkly embellishment to dress up plain spaghetti straps. When adding a jeweled accent to your dress, be sure to coordinate it with your crystal bridal jewelry.

A great way to really change the appearance of a dress is to add an overlayer to the skirt. This is a fairly major project, but it can yield equally major dividends. A sheer organza over a stiffer fabric will transform a standard gown into something much more soft and summery (a great idea if you are weadiamondrings-20" title="ring">ring your sister or mother's gown and want to dramatically alter its appearance). A few layers of gauzy tulle would add a lovely ethereal effect to a gown. You might also think adding a bit of soft color when layediamondrings-20" title="ring">ring fabrics. The only limit is your creativity.

From feathers to colored embroidery, the possibilities for customizing your wedding gown go on and on. Whether you want to add a little pop or really change the look of the dress, it can be a lot of fun to add your own embellishments. Best of all, when you finish personalizing your wedding gown, you will know that it is truly one of a kind - just like you.
