Finding a Low Cost Wedding Venue

You don't have to spend a bomb on your wedding location to have your dream wedding. If you're planning a wedding, the few options you have on your location are :

A traditional church wedding
Somewhere in a far far land if you're thinking of a destination wedding
Somewhere seriously unusual : a winery, beer brewery, the zoo, a theme park
A nice green park with lovely flowers
An elegant castle
The countryside
Someone's backyard, a community hall or a restaurant hall
The list is endless. Feel free to add on in the comments section.

Depending on how picky you are on your location and how much you're willing to spend, any of the above options could work well for you.

However if you're on a tight budget, the best option would to be to choose a location where you would need to pay a nominal rent or better still NOTHING AT ALL.

If you're lucky enough to have a relative or friend with a nice backyard and they wouldn't mind you having your wedding in there, that would definitely be the cheapest option. That way you could spend $0 on the rent and spend the money instead to do some small decorations.

Similarly if you're lucky enough to have a friend or relative who has a house in the countryside, a winery or a beer brewery and you would just love to have your wedding in an unusual location, try asking them if you could use their location as your wedding spot. If you'd promise to not make a mess of it, they would probably allow you to use it for free as their wedding gift to you.

If a church wedding is the way you would like to go but have a tight budget, try looking around for cute chapels within campuses. They usually charge way way lesser and can still offer you an elegant wedding.

A green park with flowers around could be a great idea for a cheap outdoor wedding. It shouldn't cost much or anything at all to have your wedding in a public park however please do check with your local municipal for procedures. You might have uninvited onlookers at the local park, so do consider perhaps putting up a signboard that says Reserved for Wedding of Joe & Jane or something of that nature.

A good wedding location does not need to cost you a bomb, in fact if planned properly this is one area where you could save in a lot of cash. Carefully pick your venue, and it could go a long way in setting the right mood for your dream wedding - without breaking the bank of course!
